I’ve just rediscovered ‘channels’. Back in the new-age days, everybody read Edgar Cayce, Bashar, and more contemporary mediums or channels; people who accessed information from higher sources / higher selves and then shared it to help humanity.
By the 90s, after Abraham and Esther Hicks (and the Secret) I’d moved on. First to the success gurus, and then back to the classic books of Chinese medicine and re-reading Lao Tzu and other sages.
It was in that period that I developed the Chi Cycle (published originally as The Perfect Day Plan). It came from seeing how the endless randomness that we think is freedom (eat/ sleep/work/ scroll/ binge whenever we want) creates illness and misery, and how restoring order via natural laws, boundaries, and a meaningful structure to each day, restores health and happiness, but also spiritual connection.
I’d seen myself that the more I followed the Chi Cycle, which is basically realigning to the 24 hour flow of chi (circadian rhythm), the deeper my daily chi practice became but also that lines of cosmic communication opened up.
The Chi Cycle makes the connection between each two hours of the day and unique opportunities access aspects of our ‘cosmic’ or spiritual / higher self. Ultimately you become your own Channel, you can tap into your higher self for certainty in uncertain times.
Then this week, I was listening to a podcast that interviews Channels, and one of the mediums was saying exactly that, that we need to reconnect every two hours to our spiritual self.
Chinese medicine itself, it is said, was channelled. It suddenly appeared with 12 meridians and 365 acupuncture points fully resolved. There is no record of an evolution, of trial and error, like sticking needles in people randomly to see what happened.
So channelling is nothing new but it seems to be flourishing. Maybe more and more people are open to, or able to access their higher selves. But interestingly, from what I’ve listened to so far, Channels are not seeing the digital disaster cyborg future, they are seeing us at the turning point of a new beginning.
But we have to make it happen. And that comes down to waking up to ourselves (remembering who we really are) and waking up for ourselves, which means kicking off each day systematically and consciously connecting to our higher selves.
If you want to change how things pan out, gift yourself a couple of the most powerful transformative spiritual hours of the day (5-7am) to change your outlook and the future. As I’ve outlined in all my books and courses, this is the 2 hours that will change you, inject some positivity into your day, and you will then change people around you and the ripples of wellness and goodwill spread.
watch the Wake up to Positivity video
And here’s a video with a brief overview of waking up to positivity. I’m outlining our cosmic origins according to old Chinese medicine, in which we really do come from the stars. We choose to be here, we land with a plan, but then in all the chaos and drama, we forget it! We (our soul, that is) go back home each night to the astral realms when we sleep (if we sleep) and receive guidance and direction, but then each morning wake up for other people (social media) or work and forget again. So this video zips through the four-part morning routine I use to embed positivity (the engine for good change) and to remember our cosmic / spiritual side.
